We are thrilled to present the very first and highly anticipated Africa exhibition at Kunstraum in der Au, featuring dynamic young artists from Kilifi, Kenya.

This powerful group exhibition offers an intimate and visually striking journey into the heart of Kilifi – a coastal town rich in culture, history, and creative energy. Once a flourishing trading hub dating back to the 14th century, Kilifi, together with the neighboring village of Mnarani, now pulses with the artistic voices of a new generation.

Through diverse mediums and perspectives, these emerging artists reveal where Kilifi comes from and what shapes its vibrant identity today. Their work speaks to heritage, resilience, and transformation.

With a close connection between our gallery and the Kenyan coast, “Kilifi Art – Now” offers not just an art exhibition – but an authentic cultural exchange, full of color, soul, and inspiration.
